Do employees of moving companies have to be insured? Yes, you should verify that all the professional movers and packers are insured by the company you select.
Will my movers clean my home once my move is complete? Most professional movers will clean up any mess they have made during the actual move. However, they don’t perform general house cleaning so you must hire a professional cleaning service or perform this task yourself.
Why do you ask for my email address and phone number? We require an email address and a valid phone number so our partner moving companies can contact you and quote your move. Most companies will schedule a time to come to your location and write up an estimate on what your move will cost with that specific moving company.

Can I schedule a move even if my home is currently under construction? You can, but we highly recommend that you wait until your home is completely finished. Construction can increase the timeframe and possibility of damage on moving day.
What is partial packing? This generally includes the packing and wrapping or pictures, mirrors, glass items, lamps, china cabinets, televisions and furniture.
How should I pack breakable items such as glass, crystal or china? Make sure you choose a container that has a sturdy lid and room for lots of cushioning. Place a 2-3 inch layer of crushed paper on the bottom of the box and then wrap each item individually with a soft material for protective padding. Pack the heaviest items first followed by lighter ones and use crushed paper to fill in any empty spaces in the box. After sealing the box with tape, mark it “FRAGILE” and list the contents.
